~ What Matters These Days ~ family, those people that have your back from day one through thick & thin, blood is thicker than water/friends, people that you have known for many yrs that have been there to remind you of what correct path to follow/significant other, the one that kisses you at midnight,hugs you till dawn, speaks to you just to see you smile & lends an ear when you need to get something off your chest~

~ They say a woman has outer beauty that's the first thing that captures the attention, I say it is the inner beauty of her mind, heart & soul discovered only through conversation that holds on to this attention ~ Anonymous ~

~ 1 more glass of white wine/ 1 more french kiss below the belly button/ 1 more taste of that strawberry dipped in whipped cream/ 1 more sensual thought before ......... its a little after 1 am do you think about, what happens when the lights go out, more often ~

~What's on your mind today/ is it that red rose you first received from me/ could it be that day we spent the entire time in the restaurant just talking ignoring the meal in front of us / perhaps its that day we walked the beach & counted the stars long after the sun set/ maybe your just thinking about when will meet again~

~My new apt......it will be the essence of a maxwell pad...... Good well cooked meals/ ice cream filled evenings..../ spoken poetry to relax to/ white wine filled conversations/ chocolate cake after an italian dinner servings......nope this will be a relaxing moments......beginning this summer......of 10~

~I want.......I want to know how it feels to wake up beside you / I want to explore the ways of making you smile / I want to experience kissing you while ,you shower / I want to see your expression as I bring you, breakfast in bed/ I want to witness your joy as I carry you over our welcome mat/ I want be the reason for your happiness today ~

~chair~Let me pull out your chair /may I be honest, I miss you/ may I join you in that chair/Remember that day you first smiled / I think of my lap if we move from the couch to the chair/As I recall you had little to say we just stared at one another/ kisses all about your neck, lips & ear while you sit in that chair~

~ Talk to Me~There is more to me than just romance.........all you have to do is talk to me/ express your thoughts we can chat about what makes you smile/ think about what matters to you & over coffee we can discuss the finer things in life / A to Z the subject doesn't matter, what matters is my spending time with you ~

~I know you would rather have woken up.... To breakfast in bed........then rose petals leading to a two hour sponge bath......with christopher williams playing in the background..........followed by a two hour massage therapy.........with maxwell live playing in the background.....then a lunch consisting of panera sandwiches & chocolate cake....... Then a day in ny.....just checking out the sights thus finally .followed by a fillet migion dinner on a patio over looking a white sandy beach with a full moon to guide the white wine your drinking this day~

~ Life is ~

Life is just a lot of days & nights / its up to you to work through the days / words alone can't be your only salvation if you wish to complete the nights / birth is like the sun, it beams you to where one needs to learn to survive & yet it has a bitter ending for all /only for those that think before you act learn to crawl , walk & run within an atmosphere that's only for those that choose a positive path

~ reasons ~

~I think about the first time we laid eyes on one another/ simplistic thoughts of when we shared a brief yet tender hug comes to mind/ I remember when you let me hold hand / its 3 am do you remember that day towards midnight with full moon shining bright when we first kissed? / I do & like the other thoughts, it gives me many more reasons to smile ~

~there is something about the rain that makes one just want to curl up in bed & wish the world to wash away the pain of the past~

~ Sunday afternoon~

~My my my to drink a glass of red wine on a sunday afternoon. To pop open the cork is like having unbuttoned the top button on a lady's dress/ Smelling the aroma of this delicious red wine is like bringing your nose within an inch of her skin. Pouring the red wine is like straight up eye to eye contact. Actually like molasses drinking the red wine. Is like a slow deep french kiss after midnight ( think slow dancing to Marvin Gaye ~ Let's Get it on~) you just can't wait to turn the lights down low to do it again~

~ Mother ~

~ Mother~I am happy to know that you are the one that gave me life/you are the sun, I am a stream of your sun light/ you decided to breath & provided me the air/ a woman is what nurtures that what walks this earth, you gave me the ability to crawl, with help from you now, I walk~ Happy .......Happy........Happy......Mother's Day

~ Wednesday ~

~ Wednesday, time to rise the head & open the eyes, moment to breath with positive thoughts crisscrossing my mind. as the seconds count down to me at work/sending a morning text/mail delivering a poetic card/noon white roses to the office/ get some actually work done/ carry you over the welcome mat / cook you dinner / lean over for a kiss......... my day is complete cause, you complete me~

~ 12 ~

~ Its 12 midnight, a slow walk with many deep thoughts float about my mind as I head to the bedroom~....bottle of white wine ..check....apple cinnamon scented candle ...check......~ 112~ Anywhere ~ playing in the background.....check.....knowledge in karma sutra.....check.......I believe its time for bed ~

~ Morning~.....Sunrises / deep kisses / breakfast /sponge bath /smiles/ rose petals all around you as you dress~Afternoon~ Lunch in central park after a carriage ride/ sit under a tree read poetry while sharing a white wine, pass that fruit basket~Evening ....Sunsets / french kisses / dinner / quick shower / oil massage / slow dance to ~Isley brothers~ I love the month of ~May~
